 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.  Peter Obi Visits Immaculata Girls’ Model Secondary School, Nnewi, donate ₦5 million to support the development of the school


Former Governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi, returned to Immaculata Girls’ Model Secondary School in Nnewi to fulfill the promise he made during his visit in the last quarter of last year.


The former governor had assured them last year when he last visited that he would come back, and he  did so with a donation of ₦5 million to support the development of the school. 


It was a moment filled with joy and encouragement, serving as a reminder that promises, especially those made to our children and educational institutions, must always be honored.


He  urged the students, particularly the girls, to take their education seriously, as knowledge can open doors to opportunities they may not even imagine.According to Obi;


" Education is not only a pathway to personal success but also the most powerful tool for national development"


Peter Obi pledged his unflinching committed to supporting education at all levels because according to him, when we invest in learning, we invest in hope, progress, and a better future for our society.
