 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  Police arrests officers for harassing content creator along Lagos airport road


The Airport Police Command  says it has taken note of a video currently circulating on social media involving police personnel of the Command and an Instagram content creator, teaserprank2, following a routine stop-and-search operation.


In a video making the rounds, the content creator said he had gone to pick up a friend from the airport and while returning home, he was stopped by some officers along the airport road. He alleged that the officers searched the trunk of his car and after finding nothing implicating, went on to accuse him and his friends of being thieves. He said the incident escalated when he resisted going to their office with them. He said that the officers treated him badly as if he was a criminal. A video he recorded showed when his phone was hit by one of the officers when he tried recording and also where one of the officers could be seen holding him by the trouser and dragging him.


Reacting to the viral video, the Airport Command;s spokesperson, ASP Mohammed Adeola, said the officers captured in the video have been identified and taken into custody. He mentioned that they are currently undergoing appropriate internal disciplinary procedures in line with the extant rules, regulations, and professional standards of the Nigeria Police Force.
