 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. POLICE SEEK HELP TO REUNITE BOY FOUND IN FCT WITH FAMILY. (PHOTO).


 Police seek help to reunite boy found in FCT with family


The Police have asked the public to assist with useful information that could help to reunite a male child found roaming in Gwarimpa area of Abuja with his family members.

The boy, estimated to be between 10 and 11 years old, was found roaming around Works and Housing Estate in the Gwarimpa area of the FCT, the Command’s spokesperson, SP Josephine said in a statement on Friday in Abuja.

According to her, the boy was dressed in a white shirt and carton coloured trousers when he was found.

He was found and brought to Gwarimpa Police Divisional Headquarters by a Good Samaritan on Dec. 26.

The FCT Police Command said the boy was brought to the police station at about 4:00 pm after efforts to locate his parents or relatives proved unsuccessful.

“The child appears to be unable to speak or provide any information about his family.

“Members of the public with useful information are kindly requested to contact the nearest Police Station or call 08180382808, or the Police Public Relations Officer on: 07038979348,” she said.
