 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. POOH SHIESTY'S RECORD LABEL HAS CLARIFIED THAT THE RAPPER IS NOT IN JAIL DESPITE RUMORS CIRCULATING ON SOCIAL MEDIA THIS WEEK.(PHOTO).

Pooh Shiesty's record label has clarified that the rapper is not in jail despite rumors circulating on social media this week.

 The confusion began when his name appeared in the Federal Bureau of Prisons system with a release date of April 11, 2026, leading fans to believe he had been arrested again.


However, Shiesty's team confirmed that he has been on home confinement since his early release from prison in October 2025, where he served three years of a five-year sentence on firearms conspiracy charges. The April 2026 date represents the scheduled end of his supervised release period, not a new arrest or violation. The rapper recently released the single "FDO" which stands for "First Day Out" and has been seen publicly shooting music videos during his home confinement period.
