 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail.  Popular netizen and social media influencer, Ruth, has made a video declaring her stance against the baby mama culture, calling it an act of madness. 


In the video, Ruth says that even if Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, or award-winning singer, Wizkid, approaches her to have a child for them and be her baby daddy, she will still turn them down since none of them is her legal husband.

"Nigerian girls, we have to put an end to this babymama madness. If a man is not your husband, please don’t get pregnant for him", she said.

"Like me, even if Wizkid or Aliko Dangote comes tomorrow and tells me he wants me to have a child for him, the first question I’ll ask is, 'Are you my husband?' If he says no, then there is nothing like having a child for him.

"It is time for us to be very stingy with our bodies. Men will not want to marry a baby mama, trust me. Most Nigerian men do not want to end up marrying a baby mama, so why put yourself in that situation? No ring, no baby. If you’re not his wife, don’t have a child for him...", she further stated.

Ruth made this video to weigh in on, and give her own opinion concerning the ongoing saga between skit maker and streamer, Cater Efe and his influencer babymama Emmanuella.
