 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. Rachel McAdams receives star on Hollywood Walk of Fame 


Rachel McAdams was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday for her contributions to motion pictures. The Mean Girls star, 47, celebrated the milestone during a ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard and later shared the experience on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“I did drop my speech in the gutter right before I went up,” McAdams joked to Kimmel. “Got a little sewage on it, but it was fine.” Her About Time co-star Domhnall Gleeson and director Sam Raimi, who helms her upcoming film Send Help, spoke at the event. McAdams quipped about their remarks, saying, “You have an Irishman and a writer-director. I mean, generally, they can write well.” She added that “half of Canada” came out to support her.

McAdams has appeared in a wide range of films, including Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret, Doctor Strange, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Spotlight, Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga, Game Night, Midnight in Paris, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, The Little Prince, A Most Wanted Man, Aloha, Southpaw, Everything Will Be Fine, The Vow, To the Wonder, Passion, Morning Glory, Sherlock Holmes, The Time Traveler’s Wife, The Lucky Ones, Married Life, The Family Stone, Red Eye, Wedding Crashers, and The Notebook.

“Rachel McAdams has built a remarkable career defined by range, depth, and enduring impact on audiences around the world,” said Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez. “Her transformative performances have established her as one of Hollywood’s most sought-after and respected actors.” McAdams’ latest film, Send Help, is set to arrive January 30.
