 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable.  SENATE SETS DATE FOR PASSAGE OF 2026 BUDGET


The Senate Committee on Appropriations says it is looking at the possibility of passing the 2026 budget in the third week of March.


At a special  meeting to outline legislative timeline of procedure on the budget, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, Senator Adeola Solomon  Olamilekan said, to ensure meticulous scrutiny, hard copies of the budget have been printed for the Chairmen of the standing committees.


 He added that budget defence engagements will hold between February 2nd and 13th 2026.


The committee equally has a plan to convene   an interactive session with key stakeholders, on February 9th with the theme, FROM BUDGET TO IMPACT, STRENGHTENING THE MICRO ECONOMIC STABILITY, ACCELERATING INFRASTRUCTURAL DELIVERY AND IMPROVING SECURITY THROUGH FISCAL DISCIPLINE AND EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF 2026 BUDGET.


 The committee  hopes to meet with Federal Governments economic team on March 5th 2026 for a final look at all projections and adjustments before submission of the budget report at plenary for adoption and passage.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
