 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  ‘Supreme banditry’ – Gumi reacts to US capture of Venezuelan President Maduro


Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has reacted to the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife by the United States President Donald Trump.

In a post on his Facebook page on Saturday, Gumi said “Supreme banditry doesn’t attack villages, they attack nations and kidnap leaders,” seemingly referring to President Trump.

Gumi has been a staunch critic of Trump, especially since his military intervention in Nigeria.

 Trump had earlier on Saturday disclosed this in a post via his Truth Social media account on Saturday.

The development comes a few months after the US government doubled the reward for information leading to the arrest of Maduro to $50 million, citing his alleged role in international drug trafficking.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
