 Gov Uba Sani Announces Plan For Nigeria’s largest Inter-state Bus Terminal In Kaduna Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has unveiled plans to construct what he described as the largest inter-state bus terminal in Nigeria, both in scale and supporting infrastructure. The governor made the announcement on Sunday during the groundbreaking ceremony for the project, which will be located on a 20-hectare site along the Eastern Bypass in Chikun Local Government Area of the state. According to him, the ultra-modern facility will operate as a dual terminal capable of accommodating over 5,000 vehicles. It will be equipped with intelligent traffic management systems, advanced surveillance infrastructure, escalators and elevators to ensure easy access for all users, including the elderly and persons with disabilities.  TARABA COUNCILLOR KILLED IN TIV-FULANI CLASH 




Hon. Shagari Bankaki, the serving Councillor of AKate Ward in Donga Local Government Area, Taraba State, has been shot dead amid a deadly clash between Tiv and Fulani communities.


The incident reportedly occurred during heightened tensions in the area, leaving residents in fear and panic.


 Sources said the councillor was caught in the violence and did not survive the attack.


Security agencies are yet to release an official statement on the killing, while residents are appealing for urgent intervention to prevent further escalation.


The tragic death of Hon. Bankaki has deepened worries over communal conflicts in Donga LGA and the need for immediate peace measures.
