 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

The Abia State Government has noted with interest the statement attributed to the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial Zone, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, vowing to capture and deliver the Abia State Government House to his party, the Abia APC in the 2027 General Election. 



While acknowledging Senator Kalu's entitlement to project and support his younger brother as the Abia APC gubernatorial candidate in the 2027 general election, he must be reminded that the people of Abia will decide who governs them as they won't be swayed by attempts to turn the State into a family fiefdom where a single man and family wants to retain and produce a Senator, a Governor, Commissioner representing Abia State in the National Assembly Service Commission and an Ambassador.


As the ruling party in Abia State, our great party, the Labour Party has over 3 strong, vibrant and prepared aspirants ready to contest for the ticket to represent Abia North Senatorial Zone in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly. At the appointed time, we shall mobilize all members and supporters of our party and government, to vote for the flagbearer of our party, the Labour Party, in the Abia North Senatorial Zone while urging all Abia citizens to reject attempts to turn the State into a family fiefdom and instead, work towards a brighter future for all.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
