UPDATE: WHAT TEYANA TAYLOR SAID IN CENSORED GOLDEN GLOBES WINNER SPEECH. (PHOTO).

Teyana Taylor made history at the 2026 Golden Globes by becoming the first star to be censored during their acceptance speech. The 35-year-old actress won Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her role in "One Battle After Another," receiving the first award of the night. Her audio was temporarily cut after she used a curse word while referring to how heavy the golden statuette was.

Taylor began to cry as she took the stage, with her fellow nominees all applauding for her. Beyond the censored moment, she delivered a heartfelt speech that included a joke about her children watching from upstairs at the Beverly Hilton. She concluded with a powerful message to brown sisters and little brown girls watching, saying "Our softness is not a liability. Our depth is not too much. Our light does not need permission to shine. We belong in every room we walk into. Our voices matter, and our dreams deserve space."
