 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  US, Russia, and Ukraine to meet for trilateral talks in UAE, Zelenskyy says

Trilateral talks involving Ukraine, Russia, and the United States are set to take place in the United Arab Emirates, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced Thursday. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Zelenskyy said the meetings would occur over the next two days and called on Russia to be prepared for compromises, noting that both Kyiv and Moscow face a challenging situation in the nearly four-year conflict.

Zelenskyy’s announcement came shortly after a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the forum. Both leaders described the discussion as positive but acknowledged that the final stages of negotiations are difficult. Meanwhile, U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner were scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow for peace talks, with Witkoff expressing optimism that remaining issues could be resolved. He said he would next travel to Abu Dhabi, where working groups will address military and economic matters as part of ongoing efforts to advance the peace process.
