Terry Crews’ Wife Rebecca Reveals Parkinson’s Battle 11 Years After Diagnosis: ‘Seeing Improvement’ Terry Crews and his wife, Rebecca King-Crews, have opened up about a deeply personal health journey that the family has been quietly navigating for more than a decade.  YOUR SACRIFICE WILL NOT BE IN VAIN

...says Commander Corps of Artillery

The Commander Corps of Artillery (CCA), Major General John Olusegun Adeyemo assured that the sacrifices of our fallen heroes will not be in vain. He stressed this during the Interdenominational Service held at St Andrew's Military Church Kontagora to mark the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day Service today, Sunday 11 January 2026.  The service is sequel to the Juma'at prayers  held at the Cantonment Mosque for national peace and unity in addition to coveting prayers of our God to lead our nation. Both events are part of the Programme for the AFCRD for Year 2026.

While conveying the Goodwill Message of the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu NAM, for the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day (AFCRD), the CCA also enjoined military petsonnel to be committed, professional and remain resolute at all times to perform constitutional roles effectively in the media sensitive of the prevailing operating environment.

He reiterates the importance of Nigerian Army's role in ensuring the nation remains an entity. He further emphasised that as we honour our fallen heroes and acknowledge the contribution of all veterans and serving personnel for celebration,  we all should collectively  put the national unity of our motherland in focus, in order to efficiently conquer the myriad of concerning issues relating to national security and regional stability.

Preaching during the service, the Chaplains Roman Catholic Captain Reverend Father Victor Owah appreciated the theme for the Year: Valour, Sacrifice and Unity: Honouring our Heroes, and relates it to Verse 1 - 7 of the Chapter 1 of the Book of Joshua.  The Father underscores the importance of valour, sacrifice, and commitment for progress and urges all to fight for unity and peace from the home front towards  promoting national security.

During the intercessory prayers, prayers were offered for the success of Armed Forces of Nigeria, the Chief of Defence Staff, the Chief of Army Staff and other Service Chiefs as well as other military leadership commanders at various levels for God's guidance at all times for a prosperous and fulfilling Year 2026.

Highlights of the service were praises, songs by different organisations, and group photograph.
