 LAGOS NSCDC SMASHES BABY FACTORY IN BADAGRY, ARRESTS 2 SUSPECTS, RESCUES 28 VICTIMS, RECOVERS EXHIBITS. The renewed charge of the Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, PhD., mni, OFR to all State Commandants to deploy technology - driven intelligence towards combatting criminalities across the country has begun to yield immediate positive results particularly in Lagos State Command. The State Commandant, NSCDC, Lagos State Command, Mr Adedotun Keshinro while addressing newsmen today, Friday, 17th April, 2026, in Badagry disclosed that the Command's operatives in the axis during a strategically mounted surveillance which lasted for three ( 3 ) weeks eventually  smashed a baby factory in an overnight operation between Wednesday, 15th and Thursday, 16th April at Okuju, Ilado, Road 1, Zone 1 Area of Olorunda, Badagry.  16 Abducted In Late-Night Attack On Southern Kaduna Community


Residents of Bomjok community in Kurmin Gwaza, Kwaturu Ward of Kachia Local Government Area, Kaduna State, have raised alarm following a late-night attack by suspected bandits that resulted in the abduction of 16 persons.


The incident reportedly occurred at about 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2025. 


According to local sources, the attackers operated in the community for over two hours before leaving with their victims.


Among those abducted are women, men, and children, including a nursing mother, three 13-year-olds, a 10-year-old child, and a four-month-old baby.


The victims have been identified as:


Patience Obadiah (woman)


Mama Genesis (woman)


Blessing Daniel (nursing mother)


Patience Adua (woman)


Jennifer Adamu (lady)


Dina Adua (lady)


Zinom Adamu (man)


Justice Yakubu (man)


Abel Edward (man)


Daniel Peter (man)


Tukur Peter (man)


Tabitha Adamu (13-year-old girl)


John Adua (13-year-old boy)


Thank God Joseph (13-year-old boy)


Dominic Markus (10-year-old boy)


Stephen Daniel (4-month-old baby)


A community source said the abductors are believed to be demanding ransom for the victims’ release.

However, families of those kidnapped reportedly lack the financial means to meet any such demand.


As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official confirmation regarding their whereabouts or any rescue operation. 


Residents are calling on security agencies and relevant authorities to urgently intervene to ensure the safe return of the victims.
