 U.S believes Russia providing Iran intelligence on locations of US troops, sources say U.S. officials believe Russia has been sharing intelligence with Iran that includes the locations of American troops, aircraft, and naval vessels operating in the region, according to two people familiar with the intelligence assessments. An intelligence official also confirmed that the United States has concluded Russia is providing such information to Tehran. The alleged intelligence support has raised alarm among U.S. officials because it could allow Iranian forces to more accurately target American positions using ballistic missiles or drones. If the information proves accurate and actionable, it could significantly increase the risk faced by U.S. service members stationed across the Middle East during the ongoing conflict.  16 Abducted In Late-Night Attack On Southern Kaduna Community


Residents of Bomjok community in Kurmin Gwaza, Kwaturu Ward of Kachia Local Government Area, Kaduna State, have raised alarm following a late-night attack by suspected bandits that resulted in the abduction of 16 persons.


The incident reportedly occurred at about 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2025. 


According to local sources, the attackers operated in the community for over two hours before leaving with their victims.


Among those abducted are women, men, and children, including a nursing mother, three 13-year-olds, a 10-year-old child, and a four-month-old baby.


The victims have been identified as:


Patience Obadiah (woman)


Mama Genesis (woman)


Blessing Daniel (nursing mother)


Patience Adua (woman)


Jennifer Adamu (lady)


Dina Adua (lady)


Zinom Adamu (man)


Justice Yakubu (man)


Abel Edward (man)


Daniel Peter (man)


Tukur Peter (man)


Tabitha Adamu (13-year-old girl)


John Adua (13-year-old boy)


Thank God Joseph (13-year-old boy)


Dominic Markus (10-year-old boy)


Stephen Daniel (4-month-old baby)


A community source said the abductors are believed to be demanding ransom for the victims’ release.

However, families of those kidnapped reportedly lack the financial means to meet any such demand.


As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official confirmation regarding their whereabouts or any rescue operation. 


Residents are calling on security agencies and relevant authorities to urgently intervene to ensure the safe return of the victims.
