 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. A TRAGIC ACCIDENT OCCURRED ON VALENTINE'S DAY IN EASTHAM, MASSACHUSETTS, WHEN A LOCAL COUPLE FELL THROUGH THIN ICE WHILE WALKING THEIR DOG NEAR FIRST ENCOUNTER BEACH AND BEE'S RIVER. (PHOTO).

 A tragic accident occurred on Valentine's Day in Eastham, Massachusetts, when a local couple fell through thin ice while walking their dog near First Encounter Beach and Bee's River. 

Authorities responded after a bystander reported seeing the couple's wet and distressed dog alone, leading to the discovery of the woman in the frigid water. Despite rescue efforts by first responders, she was tragically recovered and pronounced deceased at the scene. The incident serves as a somber reminder of the dangers posed by unstable ice during winter outings, even in familiar areas.


The woman's husband is believed to have also entered the water during the event and remains missing as searches continue. Relatives have shared that the family is heartbroken by this devastating loss, remembering the couple for their kindness and community involvement. Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
