The event, held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, on Sunday, 22nd March 2026, was part of the Miss Nigeria Patrons and Board Dinner / Daily Times Young Fashion Designer of the Year Award, and had in attendance a diverse audience of industry stakeholders, creatives and cultural enthusiasts.  Actor Uzor Arukwe reacts after being dragged into viral divorce rumour involving BBN Star BamBam


Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has spoken out after being linked to a viral rumour circulating online about actress BamBam’s marriage.


In a post shared on X, the actor revealed that a specific account had been identified as the source of what he described as false rumours and baseless accusations about him and a colleague in the industry.


He stated that he deliberately refused to quote the account so as not to give it attention, but warned that the individual would face consequences.


Uzor wrote that the person would be “made a scapegoat” so others would learn to respect boundaries and stop chasing clout at the expense of people’s reputations.
