 ANAMBRA SHMB WARNS HEALTH INFORMATION OFFICERS OVER LATE REPORTS, REITERATES 7TH-DAY DEADLINE By Ebele Egoh The Anambra State Hospital Management Board (SHMB) has urged Health Information Management Officers to ensure accurate medical records, timely data submission and strict protection of patients’ confidential information to strengthen healthcare delivery across the state. The Director of Medical Support Services of the Board, Mrs Nneka Uzor, gave the call during a meeting and training session for health information personnel held on Oct. 9 at the SHMB conference hall. Mrs Uzor stressed that maintaining complete medical records and safeguarding patients’ information are essential professional responsibilities, cautioning  the officers against disclosing sensitive health information to unauthorised persons and urged them to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality.   ANWASE MARKET RAZED AS SUSPECTED HERDSMEN STRIKE KWANDE AGAIN 


6th February, 2026      


Suspected armed herdsmen have reportedly set Anwasẹ Market in Mbaikyor, Kwande Local Government Area of Benue State, on fire, triggering panic among residents.


Eyewitnesses say the attackers invaded the market and razed shops, destroying goods and sources of livelihood. At the time of the incident, no security operatives were said to be present, leaving traders and locals to flee for safety.


The attack is the latest in a string of security challenges facing Turan communities in Kwande, where residents have raised concerns over repeated assaults by armed groups. The affected area is located close to Jato-Aka, the local government headquarters.


Residents are calling on security agencies to urgently intervene to prevent further attacks and protect lives and property.


Efforts to obtain official confirmation from security authorities were ongoing as of press time.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
