  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. BAUCHI SECURITY: Police Recovered N1,050,000 Motorcycle, Apprehended Suspect 


The 'C' Division of the Command has arrested a suspect involved in the theft of a motorcycle valued at N1,050,000.


2. On 2nd February, 2026, at approximately 1900hrs, two complainants, Abdullahi Aliyu, a motorcycle dealer, and Musa Usman, a motorcycle mechanic, reported to the police station that a yet-to-be-identified person had stolen a Boxer motorcycle from Aliyu's shop at Muda Lawal Market.


3.The suspect, identified as Ibrahim Muhammad, 25, of Tabli via Birshi Ward, Bauchi, was arrested on 9th February, 2026, at Gwallameji Area, Bauchi, following a tip-off and surveillance by the 'C' Division's detectives. The stolen motorcycle was recovered.


4. Muhammad has confessed to the crime and will be charged to court upon completion of the investigation.


5. The Commissioner of Police, Sani-Omolori Aliyu, mni, psc (+) commended the efforts of the detectives and patrol team involved in the operation and urged citizens to continue providing information to help combat crime in the state.
