 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. The Gates Foundation did not provide a specific reason for the decision, stating only that the move was made to ensure the summit’s focus remained on its core priorities. Gates had traveled to India for the event, and his attendance had remained uncertain throughout the week, with officials noting that it would ultimately be a personal decision.

Attention on Gates has grown following the release of draft emails found in Epstein’s account that allegedly referenced him. The drafts, which appear to have been written by Epstein, claim he arranged sexual encounters for Gates. Gates has denied those allegations, saying his interactions with Epstein were limited to philanthropic discussions at dinners and that he never visited Epstein’s private island or engaged in inappropriate conduct. The broader scrutiny comes amid renewed attention on individuals connected to Epstein, including ongoing investigations and legal proceedings involving other high-profile figures.
