 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Bryce James, son of NBA star LeBron James, to redshirt freshman season at top-ranked Arizona 

 Bryce James, the youngest son of NBA star LeBron James, will redshirt his freshman season at Arizona. The 6-foot-5 guard has not yet played this season for the top-ranked Wildcats, and coach Tommy Lloyd confirmed Tuesday that James will sit out the year to preserve eligibility.

“The redshirting decision was a long-term plan to give Bryce the most options as his career develops,” Lloyd said. “I strongly believe Bryce will contribute at Arizona in the near future. He’s made significant progress, not only in learning our system but also in his physical development.” James joined Arizona as part of a highly regarded freshman class alongside Koa Peat and Brayden Burries. With the Wildcats off to a 22-0 start—the best in program history—Lloyd and his staff have had the opportunity to carefully develop James, whose older brother, Bronny, plays alongside their father with the Los Angeles Lakers.
