 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable.  Bryce James, son of NBA star LeBron James, to redshirt freshman season at top-ranked Arizona 

 Bryce James, the youngest son of NBA star LeBron James, will redshirt his freshman season at Arizona. The 6-foot-5 guard has not yet played this season for the top-ranked Wildcats, and coach Tommy Lloyd confirmed Tuesday that James will sit out the year to preserve eligibility.

“The redshirting decision was a long-term plan to give Bryce the most options as his career develops,” Lloyd said. “I strongly believe Bryce will contribute at Arizona in the near future. He’s made significant progress, not only in learning our system but also in his physical development.” James joined Arizona as part of a highly regarded freshman class alongside Koa Peat and Brayden Burries. With the Wildcats off to a 22-0 start—the best in program history—Lloyd and his staff have had the opportunity to carefully develop James, whose older brother, Bronny, plays alongside their father with the Los Angeles Lakers.
