Burt Reynolds told Sandy Duncan he 'wanted to kill' her at height of 'Barney' fame, she says Sandy Duncan, whose career spans seven decades with Emmy, Tony, and Golden Globe nominations, is still remembered by many for her brief role in Barney & the Backyard Gang.  In 1988, during a Hollywood writers’ strike, Duncan accepted the part of “Mom” in the direct‑to‑video children’s series about a purple dinosaur.  Though she had already built a reputation in family entertainment with Peter Pan, Pinocchio, and voice work for Scooby‑Doo and The Fox and the Hound, she admitted later that she was surprised by the project’s simplicity and returned to her regular work after filming three episodes. The success of the videos led to PBS picking up Barney & Friends, and producers asked Duncan to reprise her role.  She recalled being pitched on the franchise’s future, including plush toys and merchandising, but declined the offer a decision she later regretted.  Despite...

COUNTRY SINGER JD GRAHAM LEFT BARELY ALIVE WITH BROKEN NECK AND BACK AFTER HORROR HIGHWAY CRASH. (PHOTO).

Country singer JD Graham left barely alive with broken neck and back after horror highway crash

Country singer JD Graham is recovering in a Texas trauma center after a devastating interstate crash left him with severe injuries. From his hospital bed, Graham shared a heartfelt video update, wearing a neck brace and thanking fans for their support.

He revealed the extent of his injuries including a broken back, ribs, and neck and mourned the loss of his dog, who died in the accident.

His daughter Destiny later confirmed that he was struck by one semi-truck and then collided with another, requiring first responders to cut him from the wreckage before he was airlifted to the hospital.

Destiny has launched a GoFundMe campaign that has already raised nearly $50,000, highlighting the family’s financial and emotional challenges.

With Graham’s wife Amy recently finishing her own battle with cancer and unable to work, the family is facing added strain. Destiny explained that her father’s recovery will be long and difficult, involving extensive rehabilitation before he can walk again.

She emphasized that the support from fans, fellow musicians, and the broader country music community has been overwhelming, helping the family cope during this crisis.

Graham’s story resonates deeply because of his history of resilience. Originally from Oklahoma, he grew up in the Red Dirt music scene but struggled with addiction for decades.

A 2017 car accident led to prison time, where he turned his life around by creating a music program for inmates. He later recorded albums such as Razorwire Sunrise and Pound of Rust, earning praise as a “songwriter’s songwriter.”

With his latest album Uppers and Downers set for release in March, Graham’s fans and peers are rallying behind him once again, hopeful that his strength and artistry will carry him through this new chapter of recovery.
