 That’s Not Fair - Kim Kardashian Says Prisoners Who Fought L.A. Wildfires Were Paid 'Just a Few Dollars,' and She Wants to Change That A renewed push for prison labor reform is gaining attention, with Kim Kardashian stepping in to support new legislation aimed at changing how incarcerated workers are paid. The bill, reintroduced on March 19 by Cory Booker, seeks to ensure that people working while incarcerated receive at least the federal minimum wage. It also proposes limits on deductions for fees, fines, and living costs within correctional facilities, through amendments to the Fair Labor Standards Act.  Court approves three Labs for DNA tests to determine paternity of Mohbad’s son


The Ikorodu High Court in Lagos state has approved three laboratories, two in the United Kingdom and one in the United States where DNA tests are to be conducted to determine the paternity of Liam, the child late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, left behind.


Liam’s paternity has been disputed on several occasions by Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer. Mr Aloba says that the remains of late Mohbad who passed way on September 27, 2023, will not be laid to rest until a DNA test is done to determine Liam’s paternity.


At the resumed hearing of the paternity case between Mr Aloba and Wunmi, the singer’s widow, counsel to Mohbad’s father while speaking to newsmen, said


 ‘’The court has eventually picked three DNA Laboratory centers, two in the UK and one in the US. One from us, one from them and the court picked an independent one. The matter has been adjourned to the 7th of April for us to report on the picking of samples. Prior before then, we would have made arrangement with the welfare officers to ensure that samples are taken which will be supervised by the welfare officers and it will be monitored. All the parties will be there when they are taking the samples.’’


He mentioned that his legal team and the Aloba family will ensure they have a representative at each of the centers where the samples will be delivered and the test carried out.
