 BAUCHI STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE SWIFT RESPONSE: POLICE/COMMUNITY ARREST TWO ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS, RECOVER STOLEN VALUABLES IN BIRSHI GANDU In its unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property, the Bauchi State Police Command,  has recorded yet another commendable breakthrough following prompt response to a distress report. On 17th October, 2026 at about 1015hrs, four complainants (two males and two females), all of Birshi Gandu, reported at 'E' Division that on the same day, while they were asleep in their compound housing Cozy Resort Hotel, three hoodlums armed with knives and machetes forcefully broke in and dispossessed them of their personal belongings including Samsung Galaxy S22 and S23, Redmi Note 14, iPhones, iPads, a Lenovo laptop, a Samsung tablet, power banks, earpods and other valuables running into millions of Naira, including office ID cards and driver's license. CP Sani-Omolori Condoles CHANNELS TV, Media Professionals


The Commissioner of Police, Bauchi State Command, extends his deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Kani Ben, a cameraman with Channels Television, who passed away on 15th  February, 2026, following a road accident while covering the North-East Development Commission's (NEDC) program.


The accident occurred on 6th February, 2026, involved 13 journalists and resulted in Ben suffering severe spinal cord injuries. He passed on while receiving treatment at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH), Bauchi.


CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, mni, psc(+) commends the deceased's passion and commitment to journalism and keeping the citizens informed. He also offers condolences to Channels Television and the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).


The Police Command assures the public of its continued support for journalists and commitment to ensuring justice is served in cases of harm to media personnel.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
