 LAGOS NSCDC SMASHES BABY FACTORY IN BADAGRY, ARRESTS 2 SUSPECTS, RESCUES 28 VICTIMS, RECOVERS EXHIBITS. The renewed charge of the Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, PhD., mni, OFR to all State Commandants to deploy technology - driven intelligence towards combatting criminalities across the country has begun to yield immediate positive results particularly in Lagos State Command. The State Commandant, NSCDC, Lagos State Command, Mr Adedotun Keshinro while addressing newsmen today, Friday, 17th April, 2026, in Badagry disclosed that the Command's operatives in the axis during a strategically mounted surveillance which lasted for three ( 3 ) weeks eventually  smashed a baby factory in an overnight operation between Wednesday, 15th and Thursday, 16th April at Okuju, Ilado, Road 1, Zone 1 Area of Olorunda, Badagry. CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING RACKETEERED: Two Suspects Implicated


The 'E' Divisional Police Headquarters,  Bauchi State Command is investigating a case of criminal conspiracy, human trafficking, assault, extortion, and defamation.


2. On 12th February, 2026, at about 1300hrs, a complainant, Ebere Wilson, 20yrs of Wuntin Dada, reported that she was assaulted and had her phone (Tecno Spark 4, blue in colour) confiscated by one Gloria Joseph, 27yrs of Gudum Hausawa, on 11th February, 2026.


3. Investigation revealed that one Joseph (surname unknown) allegedly conspired with one Light Mandis, 28yrs of Yelwan Kagadama, to lure Wilson and her friend, Mercy, to Ghana for prostitution.


4. The case is being transferred to SCID Bauchi for further investigation while CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, mni, psc (+) directed that the suspects be immediately charged to court upon completion of the investigation.
