 BAUCHI STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE SWIFT RESPONSE: POLICE/COMMUNITY ARREST TWO ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS, RECOVER STOLEN VALUABLES IN BIRSHI GANDU In its unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property, the Bauchi State Police Command,  has recorded yet another commendable breakthrough following prompt response to a distress report. On 17th October, 2026 at about 1015hrs, four complainants (two males and two females), all of Birshi Gandu, reported at 'E' Division that on the same day, while they were asleep in their compound housing Cozy Resort Hotel, three hoodlums armed with knives and machetes forcefully broke in and dispossessed them of their personal belongings including Samsung Galaxy S22 and S23, Redmi Note 14, iPhones, iPads, a Lenovo laptop, a Samsung tablet, power banks, earpods and other valuables running into millions of Naira, including office ID cards and driver's license. CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING RACKETEERED: Two Suspects Implicated


The 'E' Divisional Police Headquarters,  Bauchi State Command is investigating a case of criminal conspiracy, human trafficking, assault, extortion, and defamation.


2. On 12th February, 2026, at about 1300hrs, a complainant, Ebere Wilson, 20yrs of Wuntin Dada, reported that she was assaulted and had her phone (Tecno Spark 4, blue in colour) confiscated by one Gloria Joseph, 27yrs of Gudum Hausawa, on 11th February, 2026.


3. Investigation revealed that one Joseph (surname unknown) allegedly conspired with one Light Mandis, 28yrs of Yelwan Kagadama, to lure Wilson and her friend, Mercy, to Ghana for prostitution.


4. The case is being transferred to SCID Bauchi for further investigation while CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, mni, psc (+) directed that the suspects be immediately charged to court upon completion of the investigation.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
