 ANAMBRA SHMB WARNS HEALTH INFORMATION OFFICERS OVER LATE REPORTS, REITERATES 7TH-DAY DEADLINE By Ebele Egoh The Anambra State Hospital Management Board (SHMB) has urged Health Information Management Officers to ensure accurate medical records, timely data submission and strict protection of patients’ confidential information to strengthen healthcare delivery across the state. The Director of Medical Support Services of the Board, Mrs Nneka Uzor, gave the call during a meeting and training session for health information personnel held on Oct. 9 at the SHMB conference hall. Mrs Uzor stressed that maintaining complete medical records and safeguarding patients’ information are essential professional responsibilities, cautioning  the officers against disclosing sensitive health information to unauthorised persons and urged them to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality.  DEATH OF FRSC OFFICER: TRUCK DRIVER SENTENCED TO LIFE IMPRISONMENT 


A High Court in Lagos state has sentenced one Okpara Kingsley Onyekachi, a truck driver to life imprisonment for killing an FRSC officer on duty. 


In a statement by  the Corps Public Education Officer, Segun Ogungbemide, the fatal incident occurred on 16 November 2023 at Orile-Iganmu, Lagos State, while an FRSC patrol team was conducting routine traffic enforcement as Investigations revealed that the defendant, driving a 40-feet container laden truck at excessive speed, failed to exercise due care and rammed into a stationary mini truck that had been flagged down for inspection hence crushing a personnel of the Corps while actively discharging official duties. 


The FRSC Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, however describes the judgement as one that sends a loud and unmistakable message to all drivers, particularly operators of heavy duty vehicles that recklessness on our roads will no longer be tolerated.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
