 Set designer Mary Kate Golding found dead in Queens home as police investigate possible murder-suicide Police are investigating the deaths of television set designer Mary Kate Golding and her husband after the 34-year-old was found fatally stabbed inside her Queens home. According to the New York Police Department, officers responded shortly after midnight on Tuesday, July 21, to a residence in Astoria, where they found Golding with a fatal stab wound to her back. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Several hours later, at about 6:39 a.m., officers responded to a separate 911 call reporting an unconscious person near Astoria Park South and Shore Boulevard. Police found an unresponsive man in the park, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. An NYPD source identified the man as Joseph Azzaretto, Golding's husband.  DJ ORLANDO HOSPITALISED AFTER BRUTAL ATTACK AT OTUKPO WEDDING OVER PAYMENT DISPUTE

A popular disc jockey, DJ Orlando, is receiving treatment in a hospital after being attacked at a wedding in Otukpo, following a disagreement over extra payment.

Reports indicate the incident occurred when DJ Orlando refused to perform at an after-wedding party, explaining that the original agreement with the couple covered only the main ceremony. Attempts to renegotiate reportedly escalated into violence.

Sources say members of the bride’s family allegedly assaulted the DJ with broken bottles and other dangerous objects, leaving him with serious head injuries. He reportedly ran into the bride’s father’s room for safety but was pushed out and left vulnerable to further attacks.

He was eventually rescued and taken to a hospital. The bride and groom, the latter reportedly from Cross River State, allegedly left Otukpo shortly after the attack to avoid questioning.

The incident has sparked outrage among residents and rights advocates in Idoma land, who are calling on security agencies to investigate and bring the perpetrators to justice.

The Benue State Police Command has not yet issued an official statement on the attack.
