Senegal bans state officials from foreign travel to cut costs Senegal's government has suspended all non-essential foreign travel by ministers and top officials, warning of "extremely difficult" times ahead. The US-Israeli war on Iran has driven global oil prices higher, straining the budgets of many countries and pushing governments to take steps to mitigate the negative impacts. Addressing a youth event in the coastal town of Mbour on Friday evening, Senegal's Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko pointed to oil trading at about $115 a barrel, nearly twice the $62 per barrel assumed in Senegal's budget projections. Donald Trump demands Netflix remove board member Susan Rice or face 'consequences'

Former President Donald Trump called on Netflix to remove board member Susan Rice, the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations and national security adviser, over her recent comments on corporate accountability if Democrats regain power. Trump posted on Truth Social Saturday, demanding, “Netflix should fire racist, Trump Deranged Susan Rice, IMMEDIATELY, or pay the consequences. She’s got no talent or skills – Purely a political hack! HER POWER IS GONE, AND WILL NEVER BE BACK. How much is she being paid, and for what??? Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DJT.” A Netflix spokesperson did not immediately respond.

Rice recently appeared on a podcast, warning corporations, law firms, and media that their support of Trump could carry consequences if Democrats return to power. She said companies could be “caught with more than their pants down” and “held accountable” for actions taken under Trump’s administration. She emphasized that Democrats would “play by the law” and not forgive violations of policies, principles, or regulations. Trump linked to a post from conservative activist Laura Loomer, highlighting criticism of Netflix tied to Rice’s past service under President Obama. The call for Rice’s removal comes amid scrutiny of Netflix’s proposed acquisition of Warner Bros., a deal also being contested by Paramount, and ongoing Republican pressure on the streaming giant over culture and antitrust concerns.
