PRESS RELEASE May 8, 2026 CERTIFIED TRUE COPY OF SUPREME COURT JUDGMENT IN CIRCULATION NOT OFFICIALLY RELEASED, BUT CONTENTS FURTHER AFFIRM ABDULRAHMAN AND ANYANWU’S LEADERSHIP OF THE PDP 1. The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has become aware of the circulation of a purported Certified True Copy (CTC) of the recent Supreme Court judgment relating to matters concerning the party. 2. The PDP wishes to categorically state that the document currently in circulation was not officially released by the Supreme Court. A careful examination of the purported CTC reveals that it falls short of the established requirements for proper certification of official court documents. The pages were neither duly certified, stamped, nor signed by any authorized court officer in accordance with legally recognized procedures. 3. EFCC ARRESTS THREE FOR SUSPECTED NAIRA MUTILATION IN MAIDUGURI . (PHOTO). #PRESS RELEASE.

 EFCC Arrests Three for Suspected Naira Mutilation in Maiduguri 


 


The Maiduguri Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,  have arrested three individuals over alleged Naira mutilation.


 


The suspects are: Adam Muhammad, Muhammad Muhammad and Bashir Musa.


 


Adam, Muhammad and Musa were arrested following a viral video circulated on social media platforms where they were seen cleaning mucus from their nose using N500 Naira note.


 


Following the release of the video, the Commission traced the trio and arrested them in the Maiduguri metropolis area.


 


The suspects are currently under investigation at the Maiduguri detention facility while investigation is ongoing.


 


The suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations.
