ENI IDOMA RAISES ALARM OVER ALLEGED TRAFFICKING OF A BENUE LADY TO MALI

A Benue-born artist based in Lagos has raised concerns over the alleged trafficking of a young woman from Logo Local Government Area to Mali.

The artist alleged that the victim, identified as Doosuur Aondoaseer Nengenyian, was deceived and transported out of the country, where she was allegedly sold to an individual who compelled her into commercial sex work to repay a N6 million debt.

He further claimed that the woman has been subjected to constant beatings and harsh conditions.

The musician appealed to security agencies, anti-human trafficking authorities, and the Benue State Government to take swift action to investigate the matter and facilitate her rescue.
