 Lauren Sanchez Bezos says she is 'not embarrassed anymore' as Kris Jenner calls her an 'inspiration' Lauren Sánchez Bezos recently shared an emotional Instagram post about her lifelong struggle with dyslexia, opening up about the fear and embarrassment she carried throughout her broadcasting career.  Alongside clips of her on-air mistakes, the Emmy-winning journalist admitted that criticism early on left her doubting her abilities, even as she continued to succeed in front of the camera.  She explained that while dyslexia still challenges her, she has finally reached a point where she no longer feels ashamed of it. In her message, Sánchez emphasized that mistakes are part of progress, noting that she still rereads words multiple times but now embraces the process instead of hiding it. ENUGU POLICE ARREST THREE MALE SUSPECTS, RECOVER FIREARMS, AMMUNITION, AND HARD DRUGS


The Command has sustained its proactive crime-fighting efforts, recording successes in two separate operations that led to the arrest of three male suspects and the  recovery of firearms, ammunition, and hard drugs.


On 19th January 2026, operatives of the Anti-Cultism Tactical Squad, acting on credible intelligence, arrested two male suspects, Mba Emmanuel (a.k.a. “Indomie”, aged 31) and Onukwube Nnam (a.k.a. “Nwa Amodu”, aged 35), at the Awkunanaw area of Enugu South LGA. The suspects confessed to being members of the Supreme Vikings Confraternity, with Mba identified as the head and executioner of the unlawful group in Enugu South LGA as of December 2025. One Pump action gun and a locally fabricated Beretta-type pistol Beretta-type, thirty-one (31) live cartridges, a large wrap of substance suspected to be cannabis sativa, one HP laptop, and one motorcycle were recovered from them.


In a related operation on 31st January 2026, operatives raided criminal hideouts in the Agbani axis, arresting eight suspects. Following screening, one suspect, Ezeani Monday (aged 32), was found in possession of dried substance suspected to be cannabis sativa and thirty-nine (39) pellets of suspected crystal methamphetamine (“Mkpuru-mmiri”), while the remaining suspects were released after preliminary investigation.


The Commissioner of Police, Mamman Bitrus Giwa, reassures the public of the Command’s firm resolve to protect lives and property. He warns individuals involved in armed robbery and related crimes, cultism, and illicit drug activities to repent or face the full weight of the law.
