 Kogi Youths Donate ₦100 Million for President Tinubu’s APC Nomination Form Youths from Kogi State have donated the sum of ₦100 million in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as a show of confidence in his leadership and in anticipation of the 2027 general elections. The donation was formally presented during a visit to the National Headquarters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja, with the delegation led by the Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo. The delegation was received by the National Chairman of the APC, Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, at a brief but symbolic ceremony at the party’s secretariat.  Fire Outbreaks Rages In Three LGAs of Yobe State North,  East Nigeria 


Fire outbreaks hit three Local government Areas in Yobe State;  Bukarti in Yunusari LGA, Fuchimiram, Kalgeri, Geidam LGA and Gumsamari in Yusufari LGA all in Yobe state 


Preliminary assessment by Sema indicates that market stalls, Homes and food reserves were burnt down leaving many families without shelter, livelihoods and food supplies.


Cause of the fire outbreaks is yet to be ascertained but some people suspect the sudden returns of fast moving harmattan wind could be the facilitator.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
