 STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE PRESIDENT TINUBU: ARGUNGU FESTIVAL SHOWS RETURN OF STABILITY, PLEDGES STRONGER SUPPORT FOR AGRICULTURE AND TOURISM  President Bola Tinubu on Saturday described the 61st Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival as a testament to the return of stability and normalcy in Kebbi State and across the country.   Speaking at the grand finale of the festival in Argungu, the President pledged sustained Federal Government support for tourism, agriculture, food security, and rural development.   He commended the state government for successfully organising the historic cultural event, which attracted over 50,000 fishermen from across Nigeria and neighbouring countries.  "HE BLOCKED ME FOR ASKING PERMISSION BEFORE CALLING" - NIGERIAN LADY SHARES VIRAL ENCOUNTER 


A Nigerian woman has sparked online debate after revealing her brief, awkward encounter with a man her mother introduced to her for a possible relationship.


The lady explained that the man first saw her picture on her mother’s phone and asked to be connected. Once her mother shared her contact, they exchanged messages and photos to get to know each other better.


But the interaction took an unexpected turn the next morning. After the man called her twice, she answered and politely insisted he ask permission before calling in the future, emphasizing her need for personal boundaries.


The man responded by blocking her immediately, cutting off all communication.


Her viral post has divided social media users. Some applauded her for asserting her boundaries early, while others argued that her firmness may have scared off a potentially good match introduced by family.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
