 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event.  Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie set to guest-host Saturday Night Live 

Connor Storrie, star of Heated Rivalry, will guest-host Saturday Night Live in New York on February 28.

Storrie shared his excitement on Instagram Stories Sunday, writing, “I am literally the luckiest person in the world.”

British band Mumford & Sons will perform as the musical guest for the episode.

The previous weekend’s show was hosted by Alexander Skarsgard, known for Murderbot, Succession, and The Stand, with Cardi B as the music guest.

Saturday Night Live is currently on hiatus for the 2026 Winter Olympics, which run from February 6 to 22.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
