ZIMBABWEAN COUPLE DEPORTED OVER SECRET BURIAL OF CHILD IN BOTSWANA A Zimbabwean couple has been deported from Botswana after secretly burying their child without notifying authorities. Motilinah Mpofu and Christopher Ncube were convicted on Thursday of concealing a death after they allegedly dug a grave for their child in the dead of night. The Gaborone court heard the child had died suddenly. Instead of reporting the death to police, health officials, or traditional leaders, the couple quietly buried the youngster and hoped no one would find out. But the secret did not stay buried for long.   Police moved in and arrested the pair. In sentencing, the court ordered that the couple be taken to the Plumtree Border Post for deportation to Zimbabwe.  Top Botswana lawyer Winnie Masitha who offered the couple free legal representation during the trial, confirmed the deportation to BTV News. Masitha believed that the matter should not be viewed only through the lens of crim...

It Has Always Been the Three of Us - Jennifer Lopez Marks Twins’ 18th Birthday With Heartfelt Tribute

Eighteen candles, countless memories, and one very proud mother.

Jennifer Lopez marked a major milestone on Sunday as her twins, Max and Emme, turned 18.

To celebrate, she shared a deeply personal video montage on Instagram, capturing moments from their childhood to their teenage years.

Set to One Direction’s song “18,” the clip offered glimpses of birthdays, backstage laughter, and family snapshots.

One standout moment showed Emme’s surprise appearance during Lopez’s 2020 Super Bowl LIV halftime performance with Shakira, a proud mother daughter memory that fans still remember.

Lopez, who shares her twins with former husband Marc Anthony, looked back to the night they were born. It was the middle of a snowstorm in New York City.

“It was as if God was making sure you would enter a world full of pure magic,” she wrote. “In my heart, I knew that’s how your life would always be.”

She described holding them as newborns and feeling something shift inside her. “When I would hold you as infants, I honestly felt as if I were holding two angels sent straight from heaven above. My life was changed forever.”

Affectionately calling them her “coconuts,” Lopez poured out her heart in words that felt both intimate and strong.

“‘I love you’ could never encapsulate the depth of feeling, affection, and care that I have for you, my coconuts. It has always been the three of us. We have been on this journey together.”

She added, “We have always had each other to hold on to and be that steady presence in the middle of any snowstorm. And I promise you, my beautiful coconuts, no matter how big you get, that’s how it will always be.”

With playful warmth, she closed her message, “Always remember, Lulu, you are my sunshine, and Max, you’re amazing just the way you are. Happy 18th Birthday, my wonder twins.”

The milestone comes after a year of reflection for the 56 year old star. Last October, Max and Emme joined her at the New York City premiere of her film Kiss of the Spider Woman. Lopez beamed on the red carpet as the twins, stylish and confident, stood by her side.

She has also spoken candidly about motherhood. During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Lopez shared a conversation that left a lasting impression. During the COVID 19 pandemic, when she was finally able to slow down and stay home, her children told her how they felt.

“They spoke to me, and they’re like, ‘You’re not a regular mom. You’re not here every day. You don’t drop us off and pick us up like the other moms,’” she recalled. The twins were around 10 at the time.

“And I realized how much they needed me there,” she said.

Now, as Max and Emme step into adulthood, Lopez’s message is clear. Through snowstorms, stages, and seasons of growth, their bond has remained steady, rooted in love, honesty, and shared resilience.
