 Texas man arrested with 75 pounds of marijuana in luggage while flying to London, police say A Texas man was arrested at Miami International Airport after authorities found 75 pounds of marijuana in his luggage before he could board a flight to London. Harrison O’Neill Tiernan, 23, from Austin, was charged with cannabis trafficking. He was traveling to Heathrow Airport and had checked two suitcases for his British Airways flight. Inspectors discovered 65 vacuum-sealed packages containing a green, leafy substance later confirmed to be marijuana. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers stopped Tiernan while he attempted to board the flight, and he acknowledged that the bags were his. Authorities noted the inspections were part of broader efforts at the airport due to high outbound narcotics activity. In total, Tiernan was carrying 34.01 kilograms, or 74.98 pounds, of marijuana. Jill Biden’s former husband pleads not guilty to killing spouse


   The former first husband of Jill Biden pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges in the death of his current wife in Delaware.

William Stevenson, 77, was married to Jill Biden from 1970 to 1975. He was indicted this month by a state grand jury for the killing of Linda Stevenson, 64, who was found unresponsive at their Wilmington home on Dec. 28. Stevenson has been in custody since his Feb. 3 arrest on murder charges and was unable to post the $2 million bail.

Stevenson appeared remotely via video at a Wilmington court hearing on Tuesday. His attorney, a public defender, did not immediately respond to requests for comment. His next hearing is scheduled for March 16.

Stevenson founded the Stone Balloon, a well-known music venue in Newark, Delaware, in the early 1970s. Linda Stevenson ran a bookkeeping business and was remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and Philadelphia Eagles fan. In a Facebook post, her daughter Christine Mae wrote, “One hug from her and all your worries would disappear. The pain of losing her is paralyzing, and the emptiness in my heart is an abyss.”

Jill Biden married U.S. Senator Joe Biden in 1977, who later served as U.S. president from January 2021 to January 2025. A spokesperson for Jill Biden has stated she has no comment on the case.
