 Former Kennedy Center employees allege leadership delayed roof repairs before citing safety issues in closure decision Former Kennedy Center employees allege that the venue’s leadership knew about serious structural problems well before citing newly discovered hazards as the reason for its abrupt closure this month. The claims were outlined in a letter to Congress from a lawyer representing anonymous whistleblowers. The letter accuses the center’s executive director and chief operating officer, Matt Floca, of failing to prioritize roof repairs and stopping a funded repair plan in April. Floca disputes the allegations, saying recent inspections revealed that water damage had spread farther into the building than officials previously knew. In a September court declaration, Floca cited “acute risks to public safety” following an inspection that found deterioration in a roof terrace canopy and a partial ceiling collapse. Mr Obasi Emmanuel, the former husband to present Yul-Edochie's acclaimed wife Judy Austin, has called out the moughalu's family for allegedly withholding his children and preventing him from seeing them. 


Mr Emmanuel in the video posted on his Facebook page today, threatened to expose the family and cause more trouble for them, if he can't access his children on or before 14th Feb.


According to him, after he separated with Judy Austin, he purposely allowed the children to stay with her while he visited them in Judy Austin's family house in Umuoji, but all of a sudden, one particular day, he came to visit as usual and discovered that Judy Austin has disappeared with the children without his notice.


He noted that after the incident, he has written to the kindred of Judy Austin on several times to provide his children, but all his requests proves abortive.


Mr Emmanuel also alleged that the present acclaimed husband to Judy Austin, 

Yul Edochie, is planning on renaming his children to answering Edochie instead of Obasi.


He concluded by saying that he is not a trouble maker, that all he is demanding from Judy Austin and her family is to let him have his children.
