 NLC backs new SSG Chiamaka Nnake, Seeks Workers Welfare  By Ukpa Ewa  The Organized Labour in Anambra State has pledged support to the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, while urging her to place the interest of Anambra and workers’ welfare at the forefront of her administration. The labour delegation, led by Comrade Humphrey Emeka Nwafor of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Comrade Chris Ogbonna of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), paid a courtesy visit to the new SSG at the Light House in Awka. Speaking during the visit, Comrade Nwafor said the office of the SSG plays a key role in government labour relations and called on Mrs. Nnake to ensure Anambra workers are given due attention in government affairs. He also congratulated her on becoming the first female SSG in the state at a young age, describing her appointment as historic.  Kate Hudson, the talented 46-year-old actress, recently shared her excitement about her nomination for Best Actress at the upcoming 2026 Academy Awards for her role as Claire Sardina in the 2025 film Song Sung Blue. 

This marks her second Oscar nomination, following her first for Best Supporting Actress in Almost Famous back in 2000. During an appearance on the Today show, she expressed hope that her mother, the iconic Goldie Hawn, would join her as her date for the ceremony on March 15.


Hudson highlighted how special it would be to share this milestone with her mom, saying it would allow them to enjoy the evening together and have a great time. She described the awards season as thrilling, with recognition from the Golden Globes, BAFTAs, and other honors adding to the buzz. Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
