 World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler.  Kiefer Sutherland's case paused as DA orders further investigation into alleged ride-share altercation

The investigation into actor Kiefer Sutherland remains ongoing after his arrest last month on suspicion of making felony criminal threats, and prosecutors have not yet decided whether to file charges, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said Monday. Sutherland had been scheduled to appear in court in Los Angeles, but that appearance was postponed after prosecutors sent the case back to police for additional investigation. Authorities said the review is still active and no final determination has been made.

Sutherland was arrested on Jan. 12 after police responded to a report of an alleged altercation involving a ride-share driver near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles. He was taken into custody and later released after posting $50,000 bond, according to jail records. Law enforcement officials said the driver claimed Sutherland punched him multiple times and attempted to choke him during the confrontation. Police said there were no injuries that required medical treatment, and Sutherland was not arrested on suspicion of assault. The actor has not publicly commented on the incident. Sutherland is best known for his Emmy-winning role as Jack Bauer on the series “24” and for portraying President Thomas Kirkman on “Designated Survivor.” He is the son of the late actors Donald Sutherland and Shirley Douglas.
