Pentagon releases new batch of UFO files showing unexplained UAP encounters, including military videos and eyewitness reports    The Pentagon has released another batch of declassified UFO-related materials, continuing a rolling disclosure of once-classified files ordered by President Donald Trump for public release. The latest drop includes more than 50 videos and documents involving unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs), the government’s official term for UFOs, adding to a growing archive of material that has fueled public interest and debate about unexplained aerial activity. Among the newly released records are multiple military and surveillance videos showing unexplained objects in flight. One clip, recorded by a U.S. Coast Guard infrared sensor in April 2024, appears to show an object moving near an aircraft over the Southeastern United States.  LAGOS GOVT DEBUNKS BUDGETING N4.2B FOR PURCHASE OF FURNITURE, MICROPHONES FOR DEPUTY GOVERNOR'S OFFICE

The Lagos State Government has debunked the allegation that N4.2 billion is proposed in the Year 2026 budget for the purchase of furniture and 30 microphones for the Office of the Deputy Governor.

In a statement issued and signed by the Lagos State Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget, the State Government described the news report in some online media as inaccurate and a clear misinterpretation of the approved capital provisions.

The statement reads in part: "The attention of the Lagos State Government has been drawn to reports alleging that ₦4.2 billion was proposed in the 2026 budget for the purchase of office furniture and microphones for the Office of the Deputy Governor.

"This claim is inaccurate and results from a clear misinterpretation of the approved capital provisions. The total capital allocation for the Office of the Deputy Governor for Y2026 is ₦4,247,816,006. This figure has been incorrectly represented as an allocation solely for the purchase of office furniture and microphones.

"Out of the total capital expenditure of the office, the sum of ₦4,077,816,006 is earmarked for the reconstruction of the Round House complex (This is a six-story building facility that houses over 50 offices), including structural upgrades, retrofitting works, and the provision of alternative energy infrastructure for the building, amongst others.

"The balance in the sum of N170,000,000 of the budgeted capital allocated covers the purchase of office equipment, office furniture and fittings and other capital items.

"The Government reiterates that budgetary provisions are guided by due process, fiscal discipline, and established accounting standards. Stakeholders and media organisations are encouraged to seek clarification through appropriate channels to ensure accurate reporting.

"Lagos State Government remains committed to prudent management of public resources and regrets any misunderstanding arising from the classification."
