 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail.  LASG PRESENTS CHEQUES TO ANOTHER 250 BENEFICIARIES


The Lagos State Government, through the Office of Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement has presented Cheques to another 250 indigent residents of Lagos under the Eko Cares Financial Assistance Programme.


The presentation ceremony was held recently at the Office of Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement.


The Cheque was presented to the beneficiaries by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement, Dr. Afolabi Abiodun Tajudeen, alongside the Permanent Secretary of the Office, Engr. Sholabomi Shasore.


This latest disbursement brings the total number of beneficiaries to over 1000 since the beginning of 2026, underscoring the state government's unwavering commitment to ensuring no indigent Lagosian is left behind. The government remains firmly dedicated to sustaining these people-centred interventions as it continues to engage purposefully in the lives of its residents.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
