 U.S believes Russia providing Iran intelligence on locations of US troops, sources say U.S. officials believe Russia has been sharing intelligence with Iran that includes the locations of American troops, aircraft, and naval vessels operating in the region, according to two people familiar with the intelligence assessments. An intelligence official also confirmed that the United States has concluded Russia is providing such information to Tehran. The alleged intelligence support has raised alarm among U.S. officials because it could allow Iranian forces to more accurately target American positions using ballistic missiles or drones. If the information proves accurate and actionable, it could significantly increase the risk faced by U.S. service members stationed across the Middle East during the ongoing conflict.  LAWMA Waste Investigation, Surveillance and Enforcement (WISE) Operatives carried out routine compliance duties across selected markets, plazas, and commercial occupants within Ikorodu.


The following locations were served Notices of Intention to Seal for non-compliance:

1. Ferry Terminal, Ikorodu

2. No. 6 NBC Road, Ebute, Ikorodu

3. No. 7 NBC Road, Ebute, Ikorodu

4. Ominu Ajasa & Royal Family Premises, Ikorodu

5. Ladega Market, Ikorodu

6. Better Life Market, Ikorodu


All affected plazas, markets, and occupants have been granted 72 hours to comply with the notice. Failure to do so will attract appropriate enforcement actions in line with existing regulations.


All activities took place within the Ikorodu axis of Lagos State.
