 ANAMBRA SHMB WARNS HEALTH INFORMATION OFFICERS OVER LATE REPORTS, REITERATES 7TH-DAY DEADLINE By Ebele Egoh The Anambra State Hospital Management Board (SHMB) has urged Health Information Management Officers to ensure accurate medical records, timely data submission and strict protection of patients’ confidential information to strengthen healthcare delivery across the state. The Director of Medical Support Services of the Board, Mrs Nneka Uzor, gave the call during a meeting and training session for health information personnel held on Oct. 9 at the SHMB conference hall. Mrs Uzor stressed that maintaining complete medical records and safeguarding patients’ information are essential professional responsibilities, cautioning  the officers against disclosing sensitive health information to unauthorised persons and urged them to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality. Mother of Conjoined Twins Remains Hospitalised as Babies Stay Stable in NICU


A 29-year-old mother who gave birth to conjoined twin boys at Mankweng Hospital on 28 January 2026 has not yet been discharged and continues to receive medical care.


The twins, joined at the abdomen, remain stable in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit where specialists are closely monitoring their condition. A team of neonatologists and pediatric surgeons is assessing the situation to determine the safest treatment plan and the possibility of future separation.


The mother, who was urgently referred from Maphutha Malatjie Hospital after the condition was discovered during labour, is reported to be in good condition and under specialist care.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
