 World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler.  Mother of Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie reported missing in Arizona 

The mother of Savannah Guthrie, co-anchor of NBC’s “TODAY” show, has been reported missing in Arizona, officials confirmed Sunday. Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen Saturday night at her home outside Tucson, and her family reported her missing around noon on Sunday, according to Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos.

Sheriff Nanos said certain aspects of the home scene raised “grave concern,” though he did not provide details. Homicide detectives were called to the scene, a step not typically part of a missing persons investigation, and authorities have not ruled out foul play. Nancy Guthrie is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen by her family between 9:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Saturday. Officials noted she is not in good physical health, though her family reported no cognitive issues. Search efforts include drones, an airplane, a helicopter, volunteers, and search-and-rescue dogs provided by Customs and Border Protection. The Guthrie family confirmed the case and said they are working closely with local law enforcement, asking anyone with information to come forward. Savannah Guthrie has often spoken about her close bond with her mother, praising her selflessness and support in past tributes.
