 Muni Long reveals she underwent double lung transplant after doctors said she had 1 week to live: 'My jaw dropped' Singer Muni Long revealed on Good Morning America that she underwent a double lung transplant after leaving Brandy and Monica’s The Boy Is Mine tour in 2025. Diagnosed with lupus in 2014, the Grammy winner recalled falling ill during the tour, developing pneumonia, and barely finishing her final show.  Soon after, she collapsed at home and woke up in the hospital, where doctors told her she had only a week to live without surgery. Long admitted she initially hesitated to undergo the transplant, worried about how it might affect her voice. Nicki Minaj stirred controversy among her fans after proudly showcasing what she described as a “meaningful” gift from President Donald Trump a signed Bible reportedly valued at around $1,000. The rapper posted a photo of the Bible on X, featuring “God Bless The USA” on the cover and Trump’s signature across the front. 


While Minaj praised the gift as one of the most significant, she had ever received, the post quickly went viral and sparked backlash from many of her 21.6 million followers.


Reactions were sharply divided. Some fans applauded the gesture, but many criticized both the gift and Minaj’s public endorsement of it. Critics argued that Trump’s signature on a Bible was inappropriate, with one follower calling it “sacrilegious” and another pointing out the contradiction between Trump’s political actions and the symbolism of scripture. 


The uproar reflects Trump’s ongoing efforts to appeal to conservative Christian voters, often tying faith-based messaging to his political brand.
