 Trump threatens Iran with major strikes and warns of potential control of oil infrastructure as regional conflict escalates  President Donald Trump said Thursday that the United States would strike Iran “VERY HARD TONIGHT,” escalating already heightened tensions as both sides continue exchanging attacks across the region. In a social media post, Trump also threatened to “assume total control” of Iran’s oil and gas infrastructure, including the key Kharg Island export terminal, describing potential action “in the not too distant future.” The warning came as U.S. and Iranian forces traded fire for a second straight day, marking the third major escalation in less than a week following earlier clashes involving Iran, Israel, and U.S. forces stationed across multiple countries.  NOA DG RECEIVES NFF PRESIDENT: ASSURES PROMOTING NIGERIA'S IMAGE


The national orientation agency, NOA has expressed the commitment to partnering the Nigerian football federation, NFF in promoting sporting activities in the country especially in the grassroots.


Kenneth Nanim reports that the director general of the NOA mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu was speaking while receiving the president of the Nigerian football federation NFF, ibrahim gusau in his office in Abuja

. 

The NFF team led by its president was at the NOA to appreciate role by the agency towards projecting Nigeria’s global image during the just concluded african cup of nations, AFCON held in Morocco

. 

Both parties are on the same page on the need to leverage such opportunities to promote peace and unity amongst Nigerians that will attract direct foreign investments and job creation for national development.
