 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. NWAFOR ORIZU COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, NSUGBE ANNOUNCE COMPULSORY RETIREMENT OF SIX STAFF MEMBERS WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT. (PHOTO).

 Nwafor Orizu college of Education, Nsugbe Announce compulsory retirement of Six Staff members with immediate effect.


In a memo dated 2nd Feb., released today on the school Facebook page, the governing council of the Nwafor Orizu college of Education has approved the compulsory of their six staff, mandating them to stop work with immediate effect. 


The decision comes after a meeting held by the governing council on the 27th of January 2026, which based on established findings relating to age discrepancies in their official records. Other reasons include consistent underperformance and gross misconduct.


The following persons were affected by the compulsory retirement..

1. Dr Rose N. Umezinwa

2. Dr Veronica C. Okoli

3. Mrs. Obumselu Christiana Ngozi

4. Mr Ojinna Ndubuisi 

5. Adebisi Kunle

6. Dr Bartholomew Sunday.
