 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Police Seal Off Hyde Park Home After Shooting Leaves Worker Critically Injured


Police operations intensified in Hyde Park after a 23 year old worker was shot and critically injured at a residence linked to Bellarmine Chatunga Mugabe.


Authorities deployed three emergency medical service trucks to the scene. K9 and forensic units searched the property as part of an ongoing investigation. Officers are looking for the firearm believed to have been used in the shooting. Police have not yet confirmed whether any weapon has been recovered.


The residence is connected to Mugabe, the son of the late former Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe. Mugabe and another man have been taken into custody. They are expected to appear in the Alexandra Magistrates Court on charges of attempted murder.


Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances that led to the shooting. The condition of the injured worker remains critical.


The case has drawn attention because of the high profile name involved and the location of the incident in one of Johannesburg’s most affluent suburbs. However, the outcome will depend on the strength of the evidence presented in court. Police investigations are ongoing.
