Queen Nadia TV could face jail time after the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe flagged the distribution of explicit digital content.

The move follows viral adult content shared on Facebook.

Key issues at play:

• Enforcement of broadcasting and digital content laws.

• Protection of public morals and minors.

• Limits of freedom of expression in the digital space.

Freedom of expression is not absolute. The law often draws a line at explicit content, especially on public platforms.

Some see this as necessary regulation. Others see overreach and censorship.
