 Nicki Minaj sparks backlash after showing off 'most meaningful gift' from Trump Nicki Minaj stirred controversy among her fans after proudly showcasing what she described as a “meaningful” gift from President Donald Trump a signed Bible reportedly valued at around $1,000. The rapper posted a photo of the Bible on X, featuring “God Bless The USA” on the cover and Trump’s signature across the front.  While Minaj praised the gift as one of the most significant, she had ever received, the post quickly went viral and sparked backlash from many of her 21.6 million followers. Reactions were sharply divided. Some fans applauded the gesture, but many criticized both the gift and Minaj’s public endorsement of it.  SECURITY OPERATIVES RESCUE 21 KIDNAP VICTIMS, ARREST FOUR SUSPECTS IN DANMUSA


The Katsina State Government has successfully rescued 21 kidnap victims comprising 9 Christians and 2 Muslims during a joint security operation in Dargaza Hills, Danmusa Local Government Area.


The intelligence-led operation comprising the Department of State Services (DSS), Nigerian Army (NA), alongside the Nigerian Police Force (NP) and Community Watch Corps, led to the arrest of four suspects currently undergoing investigation.


The rescued victims comprised 16 women, two men and three babies, were kidnapped from Gidan Sarkin Bayero Village in Musawa LGA and other locations.


More so, 19 of the rescued victims are Christians, while two are Muslims, this shows the indiscriminate nature of banditry and the government's commitment to protecting all citizens regardless of religion.


The operation targeted the enclave of notorious bandit leader Kamilu Chiroma, also known as Buzaru, in Dargaza Hills.


This successful rescue demonstrates the effectiveness of intelligence-driven operations and the synergy among our security agencies. 


Katsi State Government wishes to assure citizens that the suspects will face the full weight of the law upon completion of investigations.


It Further reiterate that Governor Dikko Umaru Radda's commitment to ending banditry and restoring lasting peace across Katsina State is nonnegotiable. 


The government commended the Security Agencies for the professionalism and courage displayed during the operation.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
