 “We Don’t Want Violent Politics In Kaduna,” Group Tells Political Parties, Urges Them to Call Supporters To Order The Kaduna Peace Ambassadors Forum has called on political parties in Kaduna State to caution their supporters and prevent further violence following recent clashes involving members of major political parties in the state. The group said Kaduna had enjoyed relative peace for a long period and should not return to an era of violent politics. In a statement, the forum expressed concern that political disagreements and clashes in the past had sometimes escalated into religious conflicts, with consequences for communities across the state. It therefore called on security agencies to take appropriate measures to identify and hold accountable those responsible for the recent clashes, while strengthening preventive measures to avoid a recurrence.  Sextortion: Witness Narrates How Governor’s  Aide Lured Her


The trial of a former Special Adviser to the Benue State Governor on Documentation, Research and Planning, Dr. Donatus Aondona Mkor, continue on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 before Justice M.O. Olajuwon of the Federal High Court sitting in Lafia, Nasarawa State, as the EFCC presented its second witness, Aluka Seembe, who told the court how the Governor’s aide lured her to get canal knowledge of her. The case has been adjourned to March 19, 2026 for continuation of trail.
